At this point, I think I've scrapped the idea of trying to bring any used car to NZ. This only made marginal sense to begin with from the perspective of avoiding the GST by owning the car for a year,...

Not bothering with the Saab, it's too far gone on rust based on what I've read. Had a look for another Saab in the UK but couldn't find one that didn't have some rust on the underside somewhere....
