a lot of people have said they were stopped for secondary inspection once they arrived in their US destination airport. I'm stating I luckily wasn't stopped.

the police certificate can only be used if issued a max of 6 months prior to the embassy interview i believe

I got the email on 9th May. Dropped it off on 10th and DX confirmed it was delivered on 11th May. We go away to Greece in 10 days and still waiting for my passport. Really hope it is sorted next week...

Mine was refused in 2019 and the status never changed to administrative processing. I received a letter in the post advising me of the refusal.
