Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

I wonder if there was a delay with yours and Orland0 's waiver being submitted which is why it's taking longer as it looks like there have been London approvals after your dates. Might be worth...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

I'm sure the email that is received says "Please submit passport for visa issuance" and then goes on to say you have 30 days to do so. I understand that a passport can be returned with a rejection...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

What on earth?!?! Are you on the travellerspoint forum? Might be worth letting those guys over there know as I can't say I've ever seen that on either forum in the last 6 years. If they're rejecting...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Ours is 365 days exactly from the appointment which probably would have been OK but January changed everything and I just can't see now how we'd ever get it in time plus getting the passport back....

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Is the last update date still your interview date? Interesting, do you know if it was their first waiver and whether it was for a B1/B2 visa?

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

From what I remember from others that had to get their passport back, it was sent back without the visa and they had to resubmit it and start again with waiting for the visa to be stuck in the...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Has the CEAC tracker been updated recently on your case? I was hoping they'd be some movement for you and Orland0 before the bank holiday weekend. Looks like this is the longest wait times B1/B2...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

When are you due to go away? We're at the start of Sept 2025 so 12months from the appointment and really starting to get worried as need to take into consideration the time the passport process takes

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Apologies, you have far more knowledge on this than I do. What I've said its purely speculation but you are aware of how they work and how work is assigned. You learn something new every day!

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Again, if it's the same process for everyone like you say, there's no reason that i194 applications from Sep, Oct and Nov 2024 have already received their visas over those from May, June, July &...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

I'm unable to edit the spreadsheet as it's telling me to download an app but I had initally pulled the data to excel and filtered it that way to see the B1/B2 London timeframes. Before there used to...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

I was the one who found that site as there were a few Canadians on this forum asking if anyone had any info regarding Candian waivers. My understanding is that the i194 process is different to ours...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

Isn't that only if you include the i194 waivers? (which originally weren't included on the spreadsheet). And even those skew the timeframes as they either get a response around the 11-12 month mark...

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

It's terrible, especially for circumstances like yours. I've seen people over the last few years that have to do this every 5 years ( for over 20 years) for a very minor conviction decades ago....

Re: Nonimmigrant Visa Waiver of Ineligibility Application

The very least they could do is update the embassy website with more accurate timeframes because the "up to 9 months" has clearly gone out the window. A lot of us were told 6-9 months and if we're...
