I am traveling back to Perth Australia in a couple of weeks for a holiday. Am I best to take cash and exchange it in Perth?

I managed to get an outreach appointment in Leeds which I didn’t realise even existed! £479 later.... 3 passport renewal applications lodged. Just awaiting delivery. I was planning to get them...
