Many of us here are the same. For what its worth i found the US process much clearer, more efficient, and more user friendly (and mich cheaper!) than the UK process.

I think i did an A5 envelope and put on four second class stamps (an abundance of caution, and i had no first class stamps!) And wrote first class on the top of the envelope!

Please see the latest i130 spouse checklist on the embassy website- it specifically addresses the discrepancy you found and says credit cards can be used.

IR-1 applicant via DCF London . Got I-130 and LND a few months ago.

Dont plan to have medical and interview until December as dont want to move to US until april/may due to a friends...
