Personally find that hard to believe. Those surveys are based on the number of people replying and there is no guarantee that they are giving real figures.

Insurance and tax are killers but I wouldn't say that groceries are more expensive than the UK - was there last week and the price of items in the supermarket were really high I thought - eating out...
