no, same job but no word yet that ours will be extended. Instead we have to apply for a new wtr whilst residency visa being processed. 😪

No, hubby is a HGV driver so not even close as based on base rate, not overtime. It's ok, at least I get to spend more quality time with the kids which I could never do in the UK.

Hi, piped gas doesn't seem to be a much of a thing here. We are in the South Island and use LPG gas. This maybe why you are struggling to find info but I could be wrong.

I spoke with our vets who did some research and said our dog wasn't a good candidate to fly although we could risk it given how much he means to us BUT I couldn't live with myself if anything...

My husband has been offered an opportunity to work in New Zealand but we do not think we should bring thd family dog, a staffie.

Yes, it is expensive and will severely limit places we can rent but...
