Re: FLR(M) 5 Year Route

Re: Property inspection report

The inspection report is not on the list of required documents, but you can include one to show that the house is not overcrowded. One from an estate agent is apparently fine.

Re: Ordinary residency status

Yes, and also this, if you look at page 61: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/733050/1819_Provider_Rules_v1.0.pdf

Re: Ordinary residency status

There are different eligibility criteria for home student status depending on the type of education. For higher education, it is only if I have been ordinarily resident for three years, and my wife's...

Re: Ordinary residency status

Yes. To be precise, she lived in Korea from Sep 2016 to July 2017, returned home and moved again to Canada in Sep 2017, and came back in Mar 2018, and has been here since.

The government document...

Re: 2019/2020 visa and nationality fees

I heard that they froze the fees because of some report on home office finances coming out soon. Could someone direct me to this report or any information on it?

Re: Parent's accommodation letter for spouse visa

We paid £60 for a surveyor to come over and write up a report on the house, but that's because I thought this was required. Apparently it's not required and you can do what you suggested.

Re: Spouse or Tier 2 Visa?

You should apply for the spouse visa. The accommodation requirement is that you have a place to live, not that you have to live there permanently. You can submit a tenancy agreement for one place,...

Re: Spouse visa final sanity check!!

Sounds alright to me, but perhaps you might need two separate letters confirming your current employment abroad and your new contract in the UK? Also personally I would try to obtain formal letters...

Re: difference in wait times Priority vs Non-Prority

The 30 day timeline seems to be only an informal figure with no formal commitment made to it. One can only assume that some additional checks were necessary for your application...

Re: What's app messages

Since Whatapp messages are not something that's required, I think it's your call. If you don't feel confident enough with your other evidence, then do what you said, translate them and send them. But...

Re: What's app messages

Why don't you select the ones in English and send them? There's no need to send every single communication record.

Re: "Decision made" email received 18 working days after priority app in the USA

Don't be! I'm still trying to work out why sometimes there's a huge delay for some people. But around 20 days seems like the standard for priority apps at the moment. My visa letter is dated 4 March,...

Re: difference in wait times Priority vs Non-Prority

Just out of curiosity, did you write 'priority' on your package? (Or were yours scanned?) I wasn't aware that this was necessary until just a couple of days before I actually sent mine off.

Yeh,...

Re: difference in wait times Priority vs Non-Prority

There seems to be a delay in processing US applications lately. Interestingly applications from other countries don't appear to be affected by this delay, if you look at the timeline thread. Having...
