Uh-huh. Any foreign company, especially in the Middle East, Asia and throughout Africa, ALWAYS process your
work visa through the embassy. I mean no interview, either by phone, or Zoom or Skype....

Well, that's the thing. There hasn't been an interview and no mention of a medical. The email address of
the visa 'tourist agency' is real enough but I haven't actually dealt with a person so far.
