Collected my passport today, 5 year B1\2 but only 2 years on my C1\D (last time was 5) which means I'll have to apply for a new one again in about 14 months time.

yes maybe you’re right, I’ve just assumed that because you are classed as permanently ineligible and initially refused a visa, that counts as a refusal - but maybe not!

It seems like they issue 5 year visas for most/all applications that require a waiver - that’s what I had for my first one and what I’m hoping for this time.
