It might be hard to find a place to stay but if you have a British passport, that should not be a problem. However, things are getting better as there are more and more people immigrating...

I agree with above comments. In summer accommodation is quite expensive. And food too. Almost everyone speaks English so there is almost no language barrier. However, customs and culture is different...
