Think your comment at 22k is bang on , my comment of 'Doable' was about the travel, Not sure how big this family is but like i said 30k in Al Ain would be a min to survive (only)

I live in Dubai (24yrs) i employ many people of all different levels

To be honest the package is very low for a family i dont think you will get much change at the end of the month...
