My main profession & qualifications were not a problem when I first moved here, however I still came across some animosity.
Unfortunately the company I worked for changed some of it's business....

I can only speak for NS.
Over the years I have been here it's been the case that you're 'a friend' only when people want something, it seems to be the case with people who are not from the province....

NS I would say is only an option if you can work in health care / medical field. Other than that hgv driver, not much other than retail, very limited fields and opportunities

NS is beautiful but if you wish to work here there isn't much other than health care and retail.
There is still more prejudice about foreign workers than people will admit.
