Thanks both for the replies. So it looks like a tourist visa is my only option then and I’ll have to hope they let me in. I’d be flying in with our 3 children who will all have Australian passports...

I e-mailed the address and received a reply today thanking me for the e-mail and stating that my daughter’s citizenship has been finalised and we’ll receive her certificate in the post shortly 😃...

Ah, ok...that’s good to know, thanks! When you say be prepared to pay for resources do you mean stationery, books etc? I assume everyone has to pay for that though?

I recently applied for citizenship by descent for my three children - my husband (their Dad) is Australian. Anyway, after 3 weeks we received the citizenship certificates for the two oldest children....

Thanks...I’ll take a look at the link. We haven’t actually decided where we’ll go yet - it depends where my husband can get work. He’s an Australian citizen but we’ve been in the UK for the last 14...
