No we didnt use DNA, we made a application for right of abode, This was refused because of late birth registration, this time they didn't mention anything about 2nd marriage or legitimacy. So...

The 2nd marriage issue was sorted, as he got confirmation from marriage registry office and Bangladeshi law allows 2nd marriage. After the application was submitted in May...

A formal complaint was sent to the Southport address, the reply was they would get back within 10 working days. after 10days they said now they need 10 more...

that's why I was asking. becuse Southport is a UK address.

we spoke to a imgration solicter, he said something about writing a pre-action protocol letter to the home office? but said would cost £300.

could it be just hmpo are very busy??

He said questions are just basic ones.
They didn't give any time scale, so can this still take more time?
