Applying for EAD along with I-140

I am on an H1B currently and my Labor has been approved.
I am concurrently filing for an AOS for me and my spouse.

Is I-140 linked to one's employment location?
My company got my Labor Certification cleared thru' the Texas office. Recently our Texas office was closed and we were moved to our California office....
