Sorry for the late reply.... Yes it proved to be really frustrating but grateful for having family that were able to post on for us too. NZ is the same, no scanning service.

I am having to send my paperwork to someone in the UK, get them to take it too the post office, pay for a special delivery return envelope (to their address in the UK) whilst also paying to post it...

Hi HKG3 Sadly i haven't even got residency here, have just been on work visas. If i wanted to go for residency via the spouse route i would have to be here for 183 days out of the year for 2 years,...

I wasn't aware that I could come over whilst the visa was processing, now I do know. Which is great :). My question may have seemed silly but I wasn't aware this was an option

But it kind of does as I will be applying for a job from NZ and the visa process can be a little lengthy from what I have read. I am guessing if I get a job offer I have to wait in NZ with my husband...
