Thank you Rene.....I havent looked at the ESTA form but I will have to disclose the harassment charge and should I return the G/C before I apply for ESTA ?

My G/C expired in 2007(living in UK)
G/C probably considered abandoned.
Interested in visiting Florida for vacation.
9 years ago convicted of harassment(community service)

OK,my daughter has been doing some research and the reason she said for me to apply for a visa was because I was convicted of an harassment charge in 2008.

Ive just been told that because I have green card(expired) I should also apply for visa at the same time I make appt to surrender the GC.

Filing an I-407 would draw a tidy line under your time as a US permanent resident, but it isn't necessary, and under your circumstances you can apply for an ESTA and enter the US as a visitor on the...

Pulaski,the expiry date on the GC is 2007.
I dont have any intention of permanent residence in the U.S any more.

Read something about the ramifications of GC...

Hi,Hoping someone has a suggestion.

I lived in the U.S for almost 30 years.
I returned to the UK 10 years ago.
I did not become a U.S citizen(wish I did now)
I am receiving my U.S SS pension...
