Wow surprised at some of the replies, sure there's a few odd thing you can't get here...like real kinder eggs! but the US is so cheap compared to other western countries , no VAT! just low state...

hi you are lucky to be able to have the investment. I found that Because of current regulations most investment media and even bank interest bearing accounts are not allowed if you don't have a UK...

hi,you are missing the point. Living in the USA you cannot invest GBP in the U.K. from outside BECAUSE the eu agreed to report all personal earning to the USA irs. BUT the banks or investement houses...

Hi well that's ugly! Taxing ISA. I tried to open an ISA but could not as I am resident in USA with a U.K. Dual. They were just reporting on radio re tax laws they think they can change that Income...

I was hoping there was some other option but it seems not. My brother in Suggested premium bond (£50k max) might be an under radar option for some...

As a US resident or US tax payer( same for tax purposes) you cannot buy a ISA. Vanguard U.K. Won't take my money to invest ( they don't do the Fatua filing).
I know nothing about U.K. Investments or...

Can we get back to the OP and me with the same problem. Living and paying tax in USA but have inherentance money in UK at 0% and U.K. Banks and investment firms won't let us...

I think this got off topic but I don't see another thread similar.
The point it the OP got GBP in the UK from an inheritance and wanted to invest it in the UK while he is a US tax...
