Re: VAF4A Appendix 2 (Financial Requirements) Advice

I’m afraid there is no way to apply under more than one category. You will probably need to just get your accounts and returns done as soon as possible to apply through the self-employment route, as...

Re: What to do?

I wouldn't normally say this, but if you can use credit instead of savings for getting your flat settled, then you could show the savings for your application. And then you could settle the credit...

Re: What to do?

They are looking for £22,400 before deductions, however SanDiegogirl is right, they will use the gross figure from your lowest payslip to infer your annual income.

Can someone back me up on this...

Re: What to do?

Oh I am really sorry, it seems like that gross figure would need to be above 22400 divided by 12, i.e. 1,867 on all your payslips. You may need to combine it with some savings to meet the requirement.

Re: VAF4A Appendix 2 (Financial Requirements) Advice

Your company's financial year runs from incorporation, so it is from Feb. Just make sure you submit all your business bank statements right from the start, even if showing no transactions for a month...

Re: ToR approved, 24 hr turn around!

Based on my detective work I think you're talking about Transfer of Residence, a customs relief.

Re: VAF4A Appendix 2 (Financial Requirements) Advice

I am waiting for others to reply... as far as I am aware there is just no way for you to submit both types of income as they are under different categories according to the requirements.

Re: VAF4A Appendix 2 (Financial Requirements) Advice

That is a fair question. The relevant section of the requirements document is this:

Re: VAF4A Appendix 2 (Financial Requirements) Advice

Re: VAF4A Appendix 2 (Financial Requirements) Advice

As per the OP, I would suggest changing your company year end to the next few days once you are comfortably over the level, so that you can get your accounts done without waiting.

According to...

Re: VAF4A Appendix 2 (Financial Requirements) Advice

Yes, this seems to be a blind spot in the financial requirements. I had the same problem and had to delay my application by several months until my first years' accounts were in order.

Re: VAF4A Appendix 2 (Financial Requirements) Advice

I applied under F, dividend only income.

Is your business in such a position that you can, at relatively short notice, take some large dividend payments in order to reach the requirement?

Re: VAF4A Appendix 2 (Financial Requirements) Advice

You don't have a full year of accounts so I guess you can't apply under F or G. I think you must wait and apply under F.

Re: Spousal visa

It may help you to avoid complications, but it will be expensive, so it depends how much you are willing to spend as well as how comfortable you are with preparing the application yourself.

Do...

Re: Dual nationalities

Not quite true, you generally need to hold ILR for 12 months before applying for citizenship, therefore the route is 6 years+.

It just doesn't make sense that people would have multiple escalations...

Re: Spouse Visa IELTS Requirements

There you go OP, you only need to take A1 but you can take a more difficult test (i.e. A2 or B1) if you so choose. It shows greater ability during job applications although I think that's speculation...
