dbd33- I'm pleased to say that they do have another set of grandparents who are less that 30 mins away and who do a great job. Unfortunately, unlike us, both are working full time so their free time...

The experience your father had is exactly why I do worry about moving later in life. Had we been 60, I doubt if I would have hesitated. But then again, in those days my daughter (and my son) lived...
