Here Here - I love England born in the North and went to University in London - so you will not get me knocking it - though there are things that piss me off like the high price of sodas and stuff...

6 TIMES per year currently - fly via Newark, Chicago or Philly to Manchester then drive to Preston, Lancs

I accept and apologize for the broad statement I made.

I personally find the road system here far more logical and easier especially in the Midwest. 1-70 I know means an East-West Interstate....

Not true - I have just got back from the US -spent 1 month there on Visa waiver - a company that wants to employ me is applying for a H1-B visa
