We had exactly the same call! Visa was approved next day and collected the day after that!

Soon as you get decision made txt call the trendy building and go in to collect it will be available...

Yes non priority and settlement visa!

28th April - today

Didnt hear a word from them until tuesday when they asked for a letter from employer.

MP involved but i dont think that had any...

Happy to say visa received today!

Only taken 6 months!

Bangkok have taken over all thai applications that are over sla according to ukvi

Booking flight for the 14th so only 1 more week to...

Agreed! We heard from them on tuesday asking for a letter from employer, sent it wednesday, and they called my wife today asking when she would like the visa to start!

My wife received a call today asking her if she really wanted to go the the uk, when she would like to travel and said that she will be issuing the visa valid from the 10th of this month!

Will do! Im sending the letter today and my lawyer says they want it to double check im still in employment due to 6 months passing since the application

Same here! They emailed me this morning from bangkok asking for a letter of employment from my job even though they already have it! Looks like they have all been sent back to originating countries...

Changing from complete to in active means nothing!
It defaults to in active after 60 days, ours changed over 3 months ago and still no visa

Our original docs were scanned and emailed to sheffield, and then held at the application centre in bangkok , along with my wifes passport.

If i had a shred of trust remaining for the HO i would assume someone high up has been kicking ass due to many MP's involved! A deadline may have been set to complete all outstanding applications....

No word on her visa yet!
MP involved ... no help!
Generic emails with excuses about how busy they are.
