Got the answer, they have set up an account but it is provisional until i get to the bank and sign, we didnt want to give POA to anyone we hadnt met, i prefer to take the trip out. Plus its good fun...

He fella is an engineer, no doubt on a great wage. They are highly likely to be mortgageable. I know its annoying when someone disagrees with your opinion but that is mine. We may even find out soon...

My father always said - The best time to invest in property is as soon as you can afford to! its my belief that now is the absolute best time to join the hoards of foreign buyers buying in spain....
