You don't have to be ready to start work straight away. It's just an expensive pain to go over there just to collect it. I'm collecting mine next week!

Can I ask when we collect our "in principle" registration in person, how long will it take until we can walk away with our full registration? I will be going to Australia on a fleeting visit solely...

Does it need to go directly to AHPRA?

I wasn't sure if it needed to be done as for all other evidence from uni (for example the validation of degree qualification) there has...

I spoke to AHPRA since this post and they confirmed that its 12 weeks upon arrival in Oz that you collect your registration

I was going for the 457 as it seemed more appropriate due to the fact that I am not ready to commit to a permanent visa as the plan is to stay for...

I am a nurse living and working in the UK hoping to move on the 457 visa later this year. I am having trouble establishing what the best route to take is in terms of applications....
