Personally I believe the same has happened in the U.K. With large general haulage firms charging peanuts and paying there drivers even less

Thank you for your rapid reply, i was under the impression possibly the very wrong impression that the only way into Canada as a driver was to do long haul.

Yes I will, she did an apprenticeship in admin and ended up working as a recruitment consultant, however she has been out of work since I whisked her away to Cyprus with the army almost 3 years ago,...
