Yeah the violent type crimes are only deemed CIMT if they are 'aggravated' or GBH type stuff ie. doing serious damage to someone, using a weapon, or hurting someone who is particularly vulnerable...

I'm not 100% sure though now because i've heard its only serious theft that counts as CIMT

I can't use the ESTA because of my criminal convictions :( I know its easy to get away with lying on your ESTA but i will one day be going to a permanent immigrant visa interview so i know it will...
