I flew from Heathrow to Chicago in Saturday October 10th, with United. Scheduled departure was 1340, so I arrived Arpit 1030, to make sure I had plenty...

As I understand it, as a spouse of a US citizen travelling with a IR-1 visa I am exempt from the Presidential Proclamations that ban non citizens from entry. Am I misunderstanding something?

My passport was delivered just after 9 this morning, 15 days after my interview. Got a helpful email around 11 with the tracking number lol

Ah gotcha - that would've been around mid December. Originally the interview was scheduled for April 21st, but obviously lockdown happened. Rescheduled when I saw on here that people were booking...

Almost 2 years after starting the process, I finally had my interview in London yesterday. All was good and my visa is approved, so I should be heading...

My USC Husband has the suffix Jr in his name, but it's not listed as such on the Ceac page. He is trying to add his father as a joint sponsor to meet the income...

Finally got the email from NVC today - almost two months after NOA2 so there is definitely a backlog slowing things down. We'll get the fees paid today and hopefully things will speed up now. Fingers...

Thanks for the replies everyone. Been busy getting my paperwork in order ready for the next stage when I hear from NVC. Flying out to New Orleans for a short break next weekend - can't wait.

Finally! After almost a year, my husband received a letter yesterday confirming our I-130 has been approved.

Really hope the next stage goes quicker...

Just a quick update...

I-130 package was received by Nebraska Service Center on August 16th 2018, and we're still waiting for approval. USCIS website currently estimates 10-13 months wait time...

I suspect it's going to be nearer Thanksgiving by the time everything is settled. We can always hope, though.

Just a quick update, still waiting for I-130 approval. USCIS reports current processing time is currently 7.5-10 months, so hopefully shouldn't be too much longer. Fingers crossed.

Hi, no we didn't get an email - the package just turned up in the mail. I suspect they just do a very basic check when they receive it - count the number of pages, check for a signature etc. Fingers...

Turns out the I-130 is the reason for rejection - he didn't sign it... Oh well. Back in the mail to Chicago. Fingers crossed there'll be no more silly delays.
