Our interview was on Thursday and had our passports on the Tuesday (we picked delivery by 10am)- flew out on the Wednesday

That's us arrived safely and sound in the US with our E2 visas yesterday.
Husband is off just now to get the keys to the office and I'm sorting out appointments with the DMV and SS office.

Me and my husband are due out to Los Angeles next week, if you don't mind me asking- did you do the CA test in a rental car? We are both looking at rentals for a month before purchasing.

We actually had a few reasons, but the main one for me was own my business interests in the UK and permanent residence wasn't ideal for my situation, i won't divulge but it's always a future option...
