Ah we were under the impression everyone spoke French constantly! From a website we were reading they were saying if you speak in English they will ignore you! Glad to hear it's not like...

They are on Montreal island, how good is the Subway system around here? Seems like that would be the better option!

It's more a case of learning it more fluently and then the change over to Quebec French as I understand they pronounce things differently :p
