Re: IEC completed, now to find a job...

Haha need to aim for wherever Jason Statham is, he tips incredibly well (brand new Oakley gear for the whole team) if you are a chalet host. Although I hear that is not something that is done in...

Re: IEC completed, now to find a job...

Ha I'd be extremely unimpressed if someone rolled their eyes at me for that. Working on ones own (hellish) on a large project for three years, making it a success and selling it for a healthy profit...

Re: IEC completed, now to find a job...

I did think I'd get in trouble for saying that. I think I'll look for jobs in both to be honest although the sea, the proximity to Seattle, and a friend moving to Vancouver too makes me lean in that...

IEC completed, now to find a job...

Hi all,

I was hoping for some advice on how best to approach getting a job out in Canada. Vancouver ideally.

Ideally I'm looking for a professional job - not at any especially high level but...

Re: IEC 2017

Hi all,

Just thought I'd say thanks to all those who have offered advice along the way. Greatly appreciated. Makes me think I should spend time on here helping - as i become vaguely clued up.

Re: IEC 2017

Nice work getting approved.

Probably a silly question but does anyone know if it's ok to submit pictures of documents rather than scanned documents?

Re: IEC 2017

Lucky guy.

I applied half way through last year and received nada, then this year I applied on the day of the pool opening and again, nada.

Frustrating to see friends who applied much later...

Re: IEC 2017

Well let's hope they speed things up. At this rate they will need 70+ weeks just to clear 5000 invites.

Re: IEC 2017

Haha I know I know.

Thanks for the info. Guess I'll get a new job and if an invite comes along shall have to 'do them over' so to speak and leave.

Re: IEC 2017 Dates

Hoping it's not quite closed yet, would really like to know how many visas are offered for each draw.

Simply to know my odds.

Having said that, it's a brutal system of enforced limbo...

Re: Brexit currency woes

It'll happen in time, the EU pretty much only has one decent free trade deal as it stands and that is with South Korea. If they can't make this work, they may as well just give up (especially on...

Re: IEC 2017

Any inclination of when the first draw is?

From a quick google it seems that last year they were - November, December and July.

On another note I completely agree with some of the other...

Re: Is there a particular province that is easier to emigrate to?

Sadly not, ten years of lessons didn't make much of an impression.

Thanks though.

Is there a particular province that is easier to emigrate to?

Hi all,

Bit of a general question, just wondering if there is a province that is easier to get into - ie needs fewer points from a particular visa?

Considering options whilst I wait for the...

Re: British citizen eligibility test not eligible

To answer the original question, the posters above are correct about the IEC program being shut for the moment which could be the reason it's not working for you at this stage - provided that's what...

Re: What is a good enough CRS score?

Ha probably shouldn't have written that. Apologies, just thinking aloud.

So normal here that it's not surprising it comes to mind though.

Legitimate it is.
