Uk phone sim options

Hi all

we are Aussie residents/ citizens n british expats

returning to uk for 5 week visit this year over Christmas. Includibg travel to France n Germany.

looking for a sim card for 30 days...

We are very fortunate here that our council do one a month and invite people as soon as confirmation is recieved. Apparently its quite common to get a ceromony with 6 weeks of sitting test.Good news...

that was quick!! lol

heard most of the timings as between 5-12 weeks after sitting the test.

Immi say up to 9 months

good news is though- returning resident visa will only take 2-5 days if lodged online and i can put it straight into our new passports- just the lump of cash needed will sting slightly, lol

fingers crossed- worse case scenario is we will have to shell out a chunk of money to get our PR travel extended.

does anyone know when the test can be done? can we apply while the application is...

thanks so much for your help

We are basically gonna follow the advice you guys have given

Our UK passports are still gonna get done and the visas will still get transferred across to them.

Do u know much about the citizenship process? We are confident the application will be in this week. Online anyway but if we have to wait ages for test and ceremony. That will scupper us. Ie do we...

I guess we just need to know-if at all possible whether we will be able to get our citiznship and aussie passports before December 17th 2016.

I dont think we can given the processing time is 80...

do you get evidence of citizensip beofre the ceromony? ie can we apply for a passport beofre waiting for a ceromony?

is anyone familar with the application process for citizenship?

we have our current passports but obviously not the kids ones- just their old ones, will we need their up to date passport details...

right Aussie citezenship it is- we dont travel for 5 and a half months- thank goodness we found all this out now

we are on the 857 visa- which is now the 187 i beleive. i dont think there was any travel restrctions?

Ok am very glad i started this question- so as far as i can gather we need to

get bub proof of citizenship- then get his ausssie passport- he will travel as an Aussie

it did say on the site to 'send the passport you entered the country on' . However that isnt our current one as we recieved it a couple of weeks ago.

Have you gone through the process yourself?
