you will have 2 deductions, one is NIB the other NHIB.

NHIB is pretty good to be honest, you pay the first $10 if you're at hospital etc. i have friends that have used it successfully for knee...

I'm going to assume Providenciales. I don't have any children but I've been here a while.

Accommodation is difficult to find so look to budget around...

I cant remember the process but i know of friends whose spouses were endorsed came on island then got a job and work permit after.

Its easier to make connections and find jobs on island.

Correct, being endorsed on your visa only allows her to be resident on Island, it does not provide the right to work;
When she gets a job she will have her own work permit that conveys the right to...

Generally its easier to find work once on island. Get her to check out the international school here as they are usually after teachers.

how hard it is to find long term rental accommodation

Speaking of Covid generally in the TCI, the UK government just posted the below which is covid her 100K people, we have 200 cases and a small population so are automatically a terrible place to come...
