That's a really good point. I haven't really experienced that having lived away from UK for a while but the last minute booking is similar in Asia. It's a shame it doesn't exist in Canada.

I'm not sure what the CRS score is unfortunately but I do know that we don't need a job in hand to secure the PR. We are using an organisation called Canadian Visa Expert to help us with our Visa...
