Thanks for the info. I would be moving with a European company where company cars are standard so this will again be standard in USA. I'm not sure what the allowance would be.

I was in Birmingham airport a few years ago at the car hire desk and a French man beside had the same problem. Someone in his office had made the same mistake!

1 - allow 90 minutes to get through, we used it on Good Friday and the airport was quiet but still took a reasonable amount of time
