Minimum wage is just that - it is not average wage or median wage. It would be suprising if in any contry it was possible to afford a house on a minimal wage.

However with minimal wage in France...

No, I do not think that markets are similar, otherwise houses in France would cost 2-5 times more than they do. Banks do contribute to high house prices in the UK but mortgages do have to be repaid...

How many weeks per year could it realistically be occupied if dealing via an agency rather than spending lots of time on finding customers etc?
