After a period of settling in, finishing renovations, taking delivery of our shipped goods, settling in work etc I'm back on the forum.

Moved back to NZ for me (after 20 something years in UK), and to NZ for Londoner (born and bred) partner because it was time.
We both wanted a different pace of life and more time together...

My advice is breathe... Take some time out. It probably is not as bad as it seems! The Auckland housing market is just bonkers and everyone admits that. ...

We are back to Wellington (I went to uni there).

As other half is being and bred Londoner I thought for sure it was Auckland or nothing.... But lucky me, wellingtons close hills, views and sense...

We have to sell our place here and get NZ renovations complete but aim end Nov/early Dec

They seem to reckon about 3 months is what most folk do.... And decluttering seems pretty endless ....

Cracking open the champers tonight as the Passport and Visa stamp arrived in the post just now, no email warning, just front door rang and our prepaid envelope returned with the passport...

As fate would have it my friends live in Northland and said how everyone had complained at the road closures while they built said structure...and I've driven past it and it just seems to fall off...
