did not need a dual cert - just applied for the filipino one with the filipino birth cert - no problems at all... took about 2 weeks for the appointment...

Don't you need a filipino passport to...

yes you can get a filipino passport - my daughter has both a british passport and a filipino passport... the British passport was expensive, the filipino was not.

When leaving, just show both...

he could do what i did... go home and contact the passport office every day while at home and fly back again once the passport has been issued.

It's only a £400 flight if you want a cheap one with...

They sent documents we needed back with 1 phone call and it only took 3 days to arrive in mnl.

I needed the cenomar for my partner even though my daughter was british by descent from me - for the same reasons that i highlighted regarding your marriage.

First application made in November,...

I am guessing that they are confirming that your wife has not been married before you both got married, the cenomar is a document that is often faked/altered. It's nearly impossible to get a divorce...

My daughter's passport was issued today in Liverpool - awaiting for it to be dispatched.

17 weeks 4 days (officially in Bangkok from January 7), but application started...

Maylouise - I don't think so... as UK law should not apply as you are not in the UK - you would need to check Malaysian law.

Passport applications are firstly processed in Liverpool, then sent to Bangkok to get checked. Yes the Philippines is one of the countries which extra checks and it's normally...
