Re: Preparing for citizenship application

Preparing for citizenship application

I’m considering leaving employment and starting my own small business, at the same time I would be relocating from NY to AZ.

My question for the forum is around implications of that for my...

Re: Budget for relocation expenses

Also beware the potential for hidden costs.

I lost roughly $50k in purchasing power bringing money over to establish in the US. Planned my decision pre Brexit at an exchange rate of 1.42, ended up...

Re: Budget for relocation expenses

Two things already mentioned that you should pay special attention to.

1. Have in writing that the company will sponsor & pay for a green card for the whole family & have a maximum agreed time...

Re: L1A - EB1C timeline and observations

We got the medicals done once we were notified of the interview date. That being said we have a walk in practice close by that does USCIS medicals without appointments.
If you don’t have that kind...

Re: L1A->EB1C. 140 approved. 765,131,485 pending. Made redundant. What to do?

An L1 visa is no longer relevant, you can't extend yours because only the company can petition and you're no longer employed by them. Getting another new L1 from a different company will also not be...

Re: L1A->EB1C. 140 approved. 765,131,485 pending. Made redundant. What to do?

Thinking about this, it may be useful to understand the role/job title of the E visa opportunity, and specifically if it could be 'spun' as a qualifying bona fide job for your AOS. Has to be a long...

Re: L1A->EB1C. 140 approved. 765,131,485 pending. Made redundant. What to do?

Sorry, can't advise on E visa but with...

L1A - EB1C timeline and observations

To hopefully help pay back (karma) for the advice and the contributions read from this site over the past 3 years, I’ll detail briefly my path to Permanent Residence that got approved end April, in...

With your EAD/AP card in hand you don’t need to get any other visa – you just need a job that’s viable for your AOS interview and the I-485J supplement.

Re: Opportunity to go to USA California - Should i go?

Yes that salary is not going to go far at...

The RFE response...
