With a regional sponsor, you do not need to meet the points test and require reduced recent experience requirements.

139 to expire November?

Hi guys,

Has anyone else heard that the 139 visa my expire this November and not mid 2006? I have fingers and toes all crossed that it expires 06 so I can apply then.

We to had heard 2006 July for changes. We hoped to submit our 139 application Jan/Feb 06, same as you Jackie and Steve. Just when you think things are sorted. Have to sit and wait I suppose.

If your visa has already been granted, I wouldn't worry. They have said that this will take effect from mid 2006 so I am assuming that will be with visas granted from then on.
