Without going into our bank balance details I would say that having some cash to purchase things does make it alot easier (as it does in the UK) but I could not imagine trying to start a new life...

Not sure if this helps but we pay $390 a week for 2 children (One 5 days, one 4 days). It is with ABC - They do school runs and holiday cover aswell but are very over subscribed. I would definatley...
