Thank you Cook_County, I had no idea about the 330 day stipulation. I am a US citizen (flew back to San Diego in Nov 2016 to complete the naturalization process) - but have been living in Belfast...

My wife and I moved from the USA to the UK in June 2016. So we spent 6 months living and working in the USA (both of us) ... and then we have been living in the UK for the other 6...

Thank you Nun! I have spoken to an American currently living in the UK - he gave me the same advice as you. He has a similar type UK pension that he does not include on his FBAR.
