She didn't become a USA citizen till after husband was born which was after 1955. Thanks for helping us

Does anyone know if he applies for UKM and sends his passport, how long till they send passport back. Have a wedding in May in London.

Wow. He was born in 1955 in USA. Mother was born in 1931 in London. Grandparents both British by mothers side and fathers mother was British.

Just read this. Can you help. Husband was born in 1955 in the states to a British mother, dad American, can he apply for British citizenship. Thought I read he had to be from colonies.

Also for appendix 2 what answer do you give for 1.7 and 1.8 (when did you last see your sponsor and how do you keep in touch) if you are living together.

For the financial requirement, we are going the pension route. My USA husband has a military pension, it just falls short of the required amount so he has a retirement pension account that we can...

So the financial requirement form that has to be filled in, does it automatically download as you are applying online or do you have to print it and fill it in
