I can put my parents' address on any application, that won't be an issue and it's likely to be where I'm living for the first few weeks.

Don't think I'd want to put a UK number on my phone though...

Is there any minimum on how long a short term contract could be? I used to work for a summer school which would be earning over the threshold but the job only goes for 6 or 7 weeks.
