How long can it take for a work permit to be processed?

How long can it take for a UK citizen to get a work permit for Canada? Interested in hearing how other people got theirs.

Olympic Village in Vancouver

Hi everyone, has anyone ever visited or lived in Olympic Village False Creek Vancouver? I am looking to move there soon and wanted to know what other peoples take on it is.

I'll be working in Central Vancouver but I can drive so I don't mind not living right next to the work place, I am still in my early twenties and I like to go out and socialize from time to time so...
