Sometimes its 6 months as in he will leave here in Feb after spending a few months here. Then I wont see him again until Aug, where I will spend a month there, so not sure why you cant understand...

Ohh no he wouldnt work illegally, of course we would do it the legal way. I'm thinking he means to see what options he has here work wise, talk to employers, I have a few connections too.

I don't have any criminal history and I am always good and come home at the right time :) reluctantly! Always hard having to spend sometimes up to 6 months apart. But I guess it could be worse.

an eye test in the UK is around 20-30£ so about 45$ at the most. Depends on the glasses you need in regards to price. :)

Read up a lot about all the visas/paperwork involved over the past year or so, and I still find it confusing. Do people ever hire immigration lawyers? Or is that just ultimate laziness? :D

This is true, personally I could not leave my child.
I have always said if we did decide to move and it didn't work out then we can always move back. It's just such a hard decision.

Lol yeah we figured that out, he is a fully certified chef, so that would be transferable to here. Unlike my job, I work with fine bone china, decorating mainly.
