He currently works in banking but to be honest is not particularly qualified - I am the main earner having completed further education.

Our first choice would actually be San Diego but the cost of living seems to be pretty high there so it doesn't seem feasible to go straight there... We plan to move there later in life & stay...

Thank you for the advice. I'm not sure whether I can pass my citizenship onto him or not. I was born in Connecticut and lived there until I was 2, at which point I moved to the UK and have lived here...

Planning on moving to Florida in a few years time. I am a USC by birth but have lived in the UK most of my life, have a British husband and baby born in the UK.
