There may be a skills shortage in Canada but it is hard to convince HRDC.
A company in Vancouver offered me a job(cnc machinist) it took HRDC 6 weeks to decide that the company had not...

I contacted my case officer yesterday by email.I had a response this morning stating that they have extended deadline to 2 Dec(1 month extra).Thats ok for us.Pretty impressed by the response time.

I recieved my request for medicals and police clearance, they have given me 70 days dated from 24th August. However they give me a date of 2nd December .This is more than 70 days.Why?

Whats up with Medicare?It was perfectly fine for us and if you wish to have private cover you have to pay for it like anything else.If you complain about the expense don't have it !
