I turn my back for one moment .....my Mum has fallen and broken her wrist whilst my Dad has fallen and broken his hip. All this on consecutive weekends! So I now have an excellent working knowledge...

Yikes - some are not keen on the idea of biking all the way to Brisbane. Would it therefore be sensible / a reasonable alternative to Bike it from Mooloolaba to Landsborough station, leave the bike...

I think Ronan is correct. My visa states the date granted and the date it expires, ie must not arrive after DD/MM/YYYY. I presume the Business visa is the same.
