NZ Residency application & medical

When applying for residency app from uk, they require medical docs with application, however they are sent by the Dr. electronically so do you apply for residency first or get medical first?

It would appear that it may be better to apply from here as it appears to be quicker, however twice the price. £900 here or $900 there.

With regards to medicals/xrays etc,...
