Windows 10 drove me nuts. Almost every time it updated (without asking me first), my expensive, high tech Sony Vaio went into an unbreakable loop and I had to factory reset the PC to get it working...

No residency requirement if you are on state pension. It all has to do with agreements between the UK and other EU countries.
My wife lived in Australia 30+ years, started receiving British pension...

In OECD's PISA assessment, where they compare students in different countries, Portugal is number 31 while the UK is on the 26th place. Not much difference there. If you want good education in Europe...

Depending on who you ask, it can cost between €5000 and €200 per person for a married couple. I got quotes from the larger firms (DeLoitte, KPMG and others) as well as some smaller. I paid €200 each...
